GENERAL

Please read the following terms and conditions applicable to the website of chaktunche.com

By accessing this page, you accept all its terms of use, without limitation or criteria.

RATES

   Promotional or special rates are valid only when booking online www. or on any of the pages that have prior permission from Chaktunche'.

   Once agreed, prices published in US dollars (USD) are exchanged in national currency (MXN).

  All rates include VAT and tourist taxes as well as government taxes. If you require an invoice, please request it in advance and send your billing information.

Details of housing rates are correct at the time of publication and are subject to change without prior notice.


RESERVATIONS

 ◦ Reservations can be processed online www. or by calling us directly at +52 1 9981378912 during office hours or send a whatsapp message to +52 1 9981539330.

◦ The hotel requires reservations with at least two days prior to your arrival.

◦ Reservations are considered confirmed only with a guarantee deposit. Please send an email to contacto@chaktunche.com with the deposit slip.

◦ Doubts regarding reservations do not conform automatically, but individually with a response within 2 business days. It is essential to communicate beforehand to obtain the address and way to get to the place easily.


CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT 

 ◦ Check-in or check-in time is after 3:00 p.m.    ◦ Check-out or departure time is before 12:00 p.m

 ◦ Late departures or after 1:00 p.m. They will be subject to a charge of $ 18 dollars per person, subject to change without prior notice and availability. These payments will have to be in cash. It does not allow to continue using the cabin after 1pm, you can only be in the common areas. Baggage can only be stored until 8pm.

DEPOSIT GUARANTEE

 ◦ A Deposit equivalent to 50% of your stay is required as a guarantee during any season. The outstanding balance will be paid at the end of your stay if it is cash or through an interbank deposit at least one night prior to your departure.

 ◦ The Deposit must be sent to: Chaktunche S.P.R de R.L. of C.V.

PAYMENTS

  ◦ A credit / debit card is required to set a reservation, as well as a deposit of 50% of the total of your stay.

 ◦ Payments should be channeled to: Chaktunche S.P.R de R.L. of C.V.

 ◦ In case of providing details of a credit card, we will make confidential use of said information for the sole purpose of processing your payment.

 ◦ A Deposit Guarantee is required (including room rate, VAT and service fees) when confirming your reservation.

CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS AND NO-SHOW POLICY

   ◦ Confirmation of change to any reservation is subject to room availability and rates.

  ◦Chaktunche S.P.R de R.L. of C.V. reserves the right to charge your credit card with a cancellation fee of up to 100% equivalent to the number of nights reserved and the time in advance to it.

Cancellation fees are determined according to season:

High season

14 days prior are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total booked accommodation.

High season of Winter

21 days prior are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the total room booked.

Low season

3 previous days are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total booked accommodation.

  A full charge will be applied to no shows and cancellations made on the day confirmed as entry.

A full charge will be applied to short or incomplete stays

The cancellation policy is not valid for special non-refundable promotions.

HOTEL SERVICES

   Some of the services within the Hotel are free while others require a minimum fee such as massages, therapies, classes, workshops, any meal other than breakfast included, etc. Please confirm when booking or contact us in order to avoid confusion.

  The hotel is not and will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the property owned or under the custody of the Client or its customers, employees, agents or contractors or external suppliers. If there is any object that you want to protect you can ask the administrator who will see if it is possible to protect it or abstain from such responsibility.

Some of the rooms are adapted for people with disabilities to enter, however, the facilities do not have all the facilities for them. If you or any member of your group requires special facilities, please let us know.

   With the exception of assistance dogs, pets are not allowed due to the risk that they can run inside the facilities. Remember that it is jungle and we can not guarantee the safety of pets before other animals, accidents or events that could happen to them.

RESTRICTIONS

It is not allowed to enter the Hotel with the following:

Pets or livestock.

Pillows, sheets, comforters or other bedding.

Electrical appliances and / or equipment for heating and / or cooking.

Alcoholic beverages and / or outside food inside the cabins.

Products that harm the environment

Flammable substances of any kind.

Chaktunche' reserves the right to remove and / or confiscate any of the aforementioned items if it is inside any room immediately without prior notice and to charge you for the costs incurred to take such action.

GUEST BEHAVIOR

It is expected to behave in an orderly and acceptable manner at all times and not to disturb the enjoyment of other guests. We reserve the right to immediately terminate your reservation and the reservation of members of your group if we (reasonably acting) consider your conduct as a violation of this clause.

Behaviors that we reasonably consider inappropriate include, but are not limited to:

Inadequate levels of noise as well as disturbances.

Drunken or rebellious behavior

Any behavior that seems offensive to other Guests and / or collaborators.

Alter or intrude, in any way that may damage, the ecosystem of the place.

At all times we will act reasonably in making any determination under this clause.

In case we cancel your reservation, you will be forced to leave your accommodation immediately. You will be responsible for any damage or loss caused by you or a member of your group. The total payment for any damage or loss must be paid before your departure. If you can not make the payment, you will be responsible for compliance with any claim (including legal costs) made subsequently against us as a result of your actions along with all expenses incurred in the search for any claim in your against.

Our obligations to you culminate when the reservation is terminated. We will not have any obligation with the reimbursement for the lost accommodation and we are not responsible for the expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mexico.
