Chaktunche Rancho Ecolodge is an integral lodging project located in Puerto Morelos that links art, contact with nature, and physical wellbeing. It is a unique ecological site with cottages created for ecotourism and for the vacations of those who love nature. At Chaktunche, attention to our guests is paramount, as is benefiting the environment and the local community.
Local inhabitants collaborate with us in the construction of all our spaces for rent or lease. We use recycled materials, like regional wood or glass bottles. We encourage the responsible use of natural resources, separating wastes and recycling.

Located within the Ruta de los Cenotes, at Chaktunche Rancho Ecolodge there are unique cottages in which you can enjoy a peaceful and enjoyable place that will help reconnect with yourself and with nature. At Chaktunche Rancho Ecolodge the pool has no-chlorine-added, and the hot tubs are heated using the sun’s power.
Walk among trails in the midst of the rainforest, or visit the observation tower to gaze at birds, and taste each morning an organic breakfast elaborated with local ingredients at the Boutique Restaurant Chak Hanal, some of them coming from our own orchard.
Chaktunche Rancho Ecolodge is an excellent vacation location to meditate and do yoga, with our extra services of massage or physical therapy, and enjoy romantic dinners, serving couples. This paradise also provides the experience of bathing in one of the smallest cenotes in the Riviera Maya, in which up to two people can come in contact with the water of Mother Nature. By the way, keep in touch with your loved ones in a limited WiFi area within this cottage renting center.
Chaktunche is located within the Riviera Maya, Quintana Roo, Mexico, at about 25 minutes from Cancun International Airport, in the area known as La Ruta de los Cenotes (the Sinkhole Route), 15 minutes from the city of Puerto Morelos, where the second largest coral Barrier Reef in the world is located; the perfect place for snorkeling or scuba diving within the Arrecife National Park, or for taking a stroll in the harbor area of town, among restaurants and galleries.
Chaktunche Ecolodge is an ecological hotel with a privileged location. Tulum city and archaeological zone are within a two-hour drive. Cancun and Playa del Carmen are only 30 minutes away, and there is direct access to Holbox, Chichen Itza, Valladolid and Merida via highway or toll road.
